By using Rate My Stack you agree to these terms. They are short because the product is simple.
What Rate My Stack is
A free interactive visualizer for business tool stacks. You map your tools, find category gaps, calculate monthly cost, and compare to other founders' stacks. It's a planning tool, not a procurement service.
Not professional advice
Cost estimates are based on publicly listed pricing at the time the tool entry was added. Your actual costs depend on your plan tier, usage, negotiated terms, and seat counts. Don't treat Rate My Stack outputs as a quote — verify pricing with each vendor before committing.
Acceptable use
- Don't submit leaderboard entries that are spam, abusive, or impersonate other organizations.
- Don't scrape the tool catalog in bulk to reproduce it elsewhere.
- Don't use automated tools to abuse the visualizer beyond reasonable human use rates.
AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc.) are explicitly allowed via robots.txt.
Tool listings
We list third-party tools (Notion, Stripe, Linear, etc.) for visualization purposes. We're not affiliated with the listed tools, and inclusion is not an endorsement. If you operate one of the listed tools and want corrections to the description, pricing, or category, email [email protected].
Advertising
Rate My Stack is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense). We do not endorse advertised products and do not control which ads appear. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
Liability
Rate My Stack is provided as-is, without warranty. We are not liable for procurement decisions made based on the visualizer's output.
